The Q500 + Typhoon is a quadcopter from the Chinese manufacturer Yuneec. The drone has a 3-axis gimbal camera and a controller that features the Android operating system. You can watch directly on the controller via the camera of Yuneec Q500 in order to make the perfect shots.

Yuneec Typhoon Q500 +

The Yuneec Typhoon Q500 + can make beautiful aerial shots because you can see them directly on the controller. The battery will give you about 25 minutes flight time in 3 different flight modes, Smart, Angle and Home.

HD Camera
The Yuneec Typhoon Q500 + drone features a Full HD camera that shoots 60 frames per second in 1080p. In addition, the 16 megapixels camera takes stunning stable photos. The photos and videos are stored on the internal Micro SD card. In the box is an 8GB card, but you can upgrade the storage up to 128 GB.

Gimbal and Steady Grip
The Q500 + features an advanced 3-axis gimbal. The gimbal lets you make beautiful stable images and is operated via the controller. Besides taking pictures in the air, the camera can also attach the supplied steady grip to take steady images from the ground. You provide the steady grip from the camera and connect via the Android App on your phone. This will allow you to have steady images when you shoot freehand.

Advanced GPS system
Because of the advanced GPS system, the Yuneec Typhoon Q500 + is also easy to control for the novice pilot. The drone has the Glonass system, which connects it with high accuracy with multiple satellites. The Q500 + features a “Follow Me” flight mode which continues to follow the drone transmitter in the controller. This way you no longer have to control the drone and it you follows automatically. The Q500 + features a failsafe function which will fly the drone straight back to the location where it took off when it loses the connection to the controller.

The ST10 + controller of Yuneec Typhoon Q500 + has a 5.5 inch screen that runs on Android. Through the screen you can see directly the image of the camera. Various flight data such as altitude, speed, distance, battery voltage, number of satellites and the GPS signal can be read on the screen. The controller is equipped with a 5200 mAh battery and is good for many flight hours.

Battery
The Yuneec Typhoon Q500 + is flying with a 5400 mAh LiPo battery and gives you about 25 minutes flying time. The battery is easy to change so you can quickly take off when your battery is empty. The battery is charged approximately in 3 hours.
